About the Course:

The Internationally Certified Dietary Supplement Practitioner course is an advanced 3-month professional program designed to equip nutritionists, dietitians, doctors, and wellness professionals with expert-level knowledge of nutraceuticals, herbal supplements, functional foods, and therapeutic supplementation. 

This globally aligned course covers mechanisms of action, clinical applications, dosages, safety protocols, interactions, and evidence-based use across chronic diseases, hormonal health, gut disorders, metabolic conditions, immune dysfunction, athletic performance, mental health, ageing, and deficiency correction. 

Students learn to interpret labs, identify biochemical imbalances, build supplement protocols, and integrate functional medicine principles to design safe, effective, personalized supplementation plans.

 

Course Objectives :

  1. To provide a deep understanding of nutraceutical science, bioavailability, and functional supplementation.
  2. To teach mechanisms of action, indications, and contraindications of dietary supplements.
  3. To explore vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, antioxidants, adaptogens, and phytonutrients.
  4. To study herbal supplements from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Western herbalism.
  5. To train students in designing therapeutic supplement protocols for clinical conditions.
  6. To help learners interpret lab tests relevant to supplementation.
  7. To understand drug–nutrient and nutrient–nutrient interactions.
  8. To evaluate global regulations (FSSAI, FDA, EFSA).
  9. To integrate functional medicine and systems biology into supplement planning.
  10. To build confidence in ethically recommending supplements for diverse populations.
