About the Course:

Nutrition Algorithm Mastery is a 2-month internationally recognized certificate program designed to develop complete confidence in nutrition calculations across all domains of dietetics.

The course covers everything from energy requirements, anthropometry, nutrient distribution, and weight management to clinical nutrition protocols and advanced carbohydrate-insulin calculations. With a module-wise breakdown led by expert faculty, learners engage in hands-on practice to master data interpretation, therapeutic planning, and case-based applications.

Whether you’re working in clinical, community, sports, or therapeutic nutrition—this course equips you with the mathematical backbone of diet planning, enabling precise, evidence-based nutritional care.

Course Objectives :

  1. Recognize Nutritional Requirements:
Calculate energy and nutrient needs for all life stages including pregnancy, lactation, and disease conditions.
  2. Implement Nutritional Assessment:
Accurately evaluate BMI, skinfold thickness, waist-to-hip ratio, body composition, and dietary intake methods.
  3. Master Meal Planning & Exchanges:
Design customized meal plans using food exchange tables and portion calculations for general and therapeutic needs.
  4. Apply Clinical Calculations:
Learn carbohydrate counting, insulin dose adjustment, fluid/electrolyte needs, and nutrient adequacy for clinical conditions.
  5. Interpret Blood Reports:
Use biochemical data to calculate nutrient requirements and assess conditions like thyroid, liver disease, CKD, and diabetes.
  6. Integrate Advanced Dietetics Tools:

Key Learning Outcomes

  1. Calculate BMR, TDEE, IBW, BMI, MUAC, WHR, body fat percentage, and other key health metrics.
  2. Perform macronutrient and micronutrient distribution calculations for various goals, including weight loss, muscle gain, and disease management.
  3. Understand and apply PDCAAS, DIAAS, EAR, RDA, TUL, vitamin conversions, and amino acid scoring systems.
  4. Conduct anthropometric and dietary assessments using practical tools such as growth charts, 24-hour dietary recalls, and nutrient adequacy ratios.
  5. Plan diabetic, renal, thyroid, and liver diets with precise adjustments for fluids, protein, carbohydrates, and sodium.
  6. Use carbohydrate counting, insulin-to-carbohydrate ratios, insulin sensitivity factors, and glycemic load/index for therapeutic diet planning.
  7. Accurately interpret lab reports including TSH, LFTs, lipid profiles, MELD scores, and correlate findings with nutritional requirements.
  8. Gain hands-on experience through weekly problem-solving sessions and case study discussions guided by experienced faculty.
