About the Course:
This 2-month advanced course focuses on the nutritional needs of older adults and the science of healthy ageing. Students learn about sarcopenia, bone health, immunity, cognition, metabolic disorders, hydration, digestion changes, appetite decline, and chronic diseases common in ageing populations.
The curriculum integrates functional nutrition, clinical dietetics, gerontology, and preventive health strategies. Through case studies, learners design personalized diets that support longevity, cognitive function, muscle preservation, metabolic health, and quality of life.
